We have the 3/4 inch collar on our 2 girls, but opted for the 1 inch version for our big boy. Great collar.

Good quality. Very sturdy. A little stiff out of the package, but would you really want leather any other way!

Love my collars. Bought 4 more for my son's dogs. They fit perfect. My older dog is blind in one eye and is deaf. He wandered off from my property, and the pound caught him. He was returned safe back home because of his collar with the name plate on it. A great big shout of thank you to Gun Dog Supply. Without this collar he would have been taken to the pound. Will be a repeat buyer for sure.

The 1" width is a bit large for my dogs. I should have chosen the 3/4". Very nice collars, though.

I would recommend putting the name, telephone, and dog license number on the tag. Then you don't need anything else, and there is no rattling of the tags. The quality of the collar and the brass name plate is excellent.

I had ordered these for my uncle. This is the only place that I could find what he wanted in a leather collar. Like any sturdy leather collar they were a bit stiff, but with a little bit of use they are getting more flexible. It is definitely a collar that will last. After seeing them I would like to get them for my two Cockers.

Collar is of excellent quality and arrived shortly after purchase. I added an extra brass plate for more contact information and appreciate the tips for what type of information to include on the brass plates. I love how they look, and they are durable. I have 2 dogs that play rough. They like to pull each other by their collars. They were shredding Nylon collars. These are holding up nicely. I have had several compliments on how nice they look. I love the brass name plate, a little extra safety if they ever wander off. Thanks for a nice product.

They fit a little more snug than I expected, but the leather is nice and thick and looks really nice on both dogs. The name plate sits perfectly at the top of the collar and looks great too. Overall, I'm very happy. We might need to add another hole to one just to give my girl a little more space, but overall I am very happy.

High quality for very low price! The collars break in beautifully and become extremely soft. They tend to mold to fit your dog, so after about a year the collar will be the *perfect* fit. We get compliments on them everywhere we go and when I share the price, people are shocked. I will definitely be a life-long customer!

I ordered 4 collars from Gun Dog Supply: this 1" collar and the matching 1.25" collar (3 of those). I had custom riveted nameplates put on all four of them by Gun Dog Supply, and they look great. We've had them for about two weeks, and none of the collars or nameplates have come off my dogs. That was an issue for us previously. Also, I received the order very quickly - in about two day's time. The collars look great and are a wonderful value. Here is the only thing I would change: three of my dogs range in weight from 65 lbs to 75 lbs and the 1.25" collar looks wonderful on them. My beagle/lab mix is about 45 lbs and the 1" is a bit bulky on her. I'd order the .75 if I had known. Not a huge deal, just fyi.

This is an excellent collar, and I challenge anyone to find a better deal! We had our last ones like this for 3 years, and they were still going strong. We ordered new ones because it was cheaper to order a whole new collar from GDS than it was to buy new tags locally! The collars look great and hold up well.
