Excellent leather, very sturdy but still elegant, supple. Love the extra ring and placement of rings.
Had 6' but also love the 4' lead. We get compliments on both leashes & collar all the time and I always proudly say 'Steve's Gun Dog Supply!' Best collar and leash on the market.

Good leather. It's nice to be able to fold it in half and connect the rear ring back to the collar for close control. Also good to keep in the car to put on a stray that doesn't have a collar with the center ring.

Our dog is a family pet, not a hunting, so I am not sure what the floating gold loop is for but gets a little annoying. Otherwise, beautiful leash!

Outstanding quality. Just added a couple of coats of Lexol, and it's soft as butter. Great lead for schooling and recreation. Length is perfect for both. Great company to do business with. Highly recommend lead and company.

I bought this along with a leather collar for my boyfriend's working dog. He loved it! It's a nice quality. After searching the internet (including the great Amazon!), I remembered a friend used GDS for his hunting dog supplies. The lightbulb went off. I trust reviews from other customers that put GDS's products through comparative rigorous workouts. As a horse person, I favor leather products. This leash and the collar I bought were both nice quality for their price and practicality.

We love it. Not only is it well made and appears to look as if it will last forever, it also looks very handsome on our two boys!
