This is my second time purchasing this type of collar. I purchased the first one two years ago. It held up great and it was just time to get a new one. I liked it so much that the other dogs got one, and we'll be ordering more for the nuclear dog families.

I love this collar. I've been ordering this collar for years (for all my dogs). They are very durable and at a great price. I just ordered four. One for each of my two dogs and one for each of my daughter's two dogs. Ordered four different colors with four different tags and they still were delivered in only two days without paying extra shipping costs!! Excellent service!! Will order again from Gun Dog Supply.

When they state the length to the last hole on the collar, they mean exactly that (or a little bigger). I find that the collar is on the large size from what the length that is given....so the collars I ordered for specific dogs do not actually fit those dogs. I will have to find a local outlet that can make a new hole in the collar and trim the length off a bit.

The one thing that stops me from giving this collar 5 stars is how the end is secured. When you place the collar on the dog, the loop that contains the tail end of the collar does not hold it tightly. This leaves the tail loose enough that it distracts my young dogs. Beyond that, the collar is a very good value for price. It's cheap enough that if you get one hunting season out of it you have your money's worth.

Like the durability, and easy to read even after 1 1/2 years. Just bought one for the new rescue bloodhound.

The area around the buckle is awkward and stiff. I'm probably just going to use it as a spare.

As my dog grew, now 2.5, I used these collars and have been more than satisfied. They have withstood everything the dog has done except one, a direct facial shot from a skunk. That collar hit the trash quick, which is why I just ordered another exactly like the one I had. The name plate really develops a nice patina and the brilliant color of the day glow blue really sets off against his red coat. Great product, great price, great service.

I bought this for my most recently acquired rescue named Scooter. I did measure wrong, so I bought this one a size too big, so I just trimmed it down and put a couple of new holes in it. Hint for not measuring wrong -- don't measure when your dog is yawning or wiggling around or puffing up his neck. :)

I use this type of collar on all my dogs. The material is durable, lasts for years, and you can't beat the price. Also, the collar will not stretch or deform with use or when it gets wet. The D-end makes it easy to put on and is strong connection for dogs who like to pull.

I was specifically looking for a strong Day Glow collar like this one for my Black Lab/Golden Retriever mix. This is perfect. Everything is just right from the material to the design and it's strength. Why do I mention the strength? Because our recently acquired 18-mos yellow lab puppy loves to grab our 3-yr Duke by the collar during their rough housing, and he/they have gone through two collars already. This one seems pretty indestructible. Plus with Duke's black fur, this is added comfort for me when we are out walking. People can see him better.

Collars are great. Only complaint is the roller on the buckle tinkles. At first a little annoying, but its like a little bell. Now I know when they are sneaking in for a little counter surfing.

I ordered one for my 9 year old girl because her leather collar seemed too heavy for her. She seems much happier with it! I ordered one in pink, so it's feminine, but she also isn't the laughing stock of our training club. ;) I will be ordering more in the future and already have one for my future puppy!!!

These are excellent collars. My personal favorite. They are easy on my hounds (they don't take the hair off like cheaper ones do). The name plates are placed perfectly on these as well.
