The standard for my training now. I use to use the pea type whistles but I like the control I have with these Acme whistles and they don't ring my ears in the blind. I use the 212 for a little more distance if needed.

Hunting the Gulf Coast I carry 5 different calls around my neck! This whistle is small, light and and is never in the way. It's loud, no ball to freeze and my dog can hear it even in the wind and responds immediately. I would recommend it to a friend.

Was having a problem with come when not on leash. While the whistle did not resolve the issue completely our dog is responding 75% better.

Don't judge by the sound you hear. There is a louder sound higher pitch. I can tell because the dog hears it far away. It is quite loud for my daughter's ear next to me. That is what I wanted. I ordered two because I will not be without it.

I really like the acme oblong whistles. I use the 211 1/2 for my labs as well. I would like for you guys to carry different colors of these whistles. To get different colors, I have to buy from England . The different colors help me use different pitch whistles and tell them apart easily when working labs and spaniels together.

Good sounding whistle and very durable. We have two of each of the Acme dog whistles. My son helps sleep train the dogs. Another excellent product.

They work fine, except you can't let the puppy chew on them, or they don't work. Other than that, excellent.

I bought the whistle to see if it would be helpful to call my dog, who is losing his hearing. He likes to lay under a pine tree, and we can't always get his attention. After blowing the whistle a few times his head pops up! Reward him with a treat when he responds. Yayyyyy
