This collar is the best. I have 4 dogs and they all rough house constantly. Collar has held up fine. The color is still just as vibrant. The plate is not scratched. We moved to a yard with no fence and I have one of the dogs on a tie out. He's REALLY tested the tie out and the collar has been great. I can trust it will never break. I bought another leather collar with name plate for my puppy and he'll be wearing that as soon as it fits. Great products I will only buy collars from gds.

I've used these collars and the double-sewn leashes for 5 years now for our 3 Golden Retriever field dogs. They are strong, durable safety collars of the highest quality.

Over the last 15-20 years, I have had several of these collars for my dogs. They look great, wear fabulously and are priced less than many lesser quality collars I have seen. Be sure to order at least one name tag on the collar.

This isn't my first rodeo with these collars. I tried a lot- they fell apart, or came off too easily. These are perfect and last forever! EXCELLENT value for a working dog, or a pet. Stout!

I like that it doesn't appear to harden, which is the problem I had with the synthetic ones. However, it does seem to be a slightly smaller width than the synthetic. I'd like it even better if it was the same width.

looks terrific, great quality, name plate is perfect.....could not have been better for this dog...he is very active but the collar does not get in his way at all....in fact, now if we take it off of him he gets really upset and growls and howls until we put it back on....he is a touch spoiled, however.....
