There's not much that can wrong with these things, right? Even so, they're well constructed and the collars wear out before these things start to show their age. The rivets fasten the plate securely, and I haven't had any issues with tearing nylon collars when attaching them. Gun Dog Supply attaches them if you buy a collar from them. You can add more info, or buy them and attach them to a collar you didn't buy from Steve (like an emergency replacement for a skunk bomb!).

I love these collars. They're very soft and durable. Because they're so soft I was concerned about there being too much stretching. They've stretched a little, even with my young adult dog who hasn't learned to stop pulling on the leash yet, but it hasn't been a problem. Don't believe the opinion that this size of collar is only for small dogs. My dogs are 40lbs, and I like the thinner collar on them. The only setback is they've shrunk a little in width and the name plate is slightly larger than the collar now. If I cut myself, I'll have to sand the name plate down. Excellent product, holds up very well, and looks fancy. I'd definitely buy them again.

We got 4 of these for our farm dogs and decided they would work great for the little ones, too. Normal dog tags dangle and eventually wear off. These rivet-on plates are great and quieter. The rivets that came with them are too small to go through their paracord collars, but the plates are perfect. Thanks!

Nice weight, heavier than most and easy to read.

Added this to a regular 1/2 inch nylon collar while he's still small. Just by a hair it is wider than the collar, but it was easy to attach, came quickly and even with a few dollars shipping was a great value. Thanks!

These nameplates hold up better than ones I've bought in the past from other companies. I've lost one of my dogs in the field before. What got her back to me the same day was not her chip, it was the name plate with my cell number on it.

Where exactly what I ordered, and delivered in a very timely manner.

Although the size chart said her measurements were within 2 size collars, the one we ordered is a bit big on her. We woud have ordered the smaller of the two, but it was not available until the end of November and we didn't want to wait. None the less, it looks great on her and we love it! We will probably be ordering the smaller size when it is available as well!

What happened to the pressed or raised letters that we used to find? They were the best. Never wore off. Now everyone etches them. Yours is deeper and better than most.

Those tags dangling from S Hooks on the collar can get hung up on something like a fence, causing your pet to choke when you're not around. These tags solve that problem. With two of the plates on each collar, I was able to give complete contact information, address, phone numbers, and microchip info. The brass plates are soft enough to match to the exact collar curve before mounting. Microchips are good, but these plates allow someone to contact you long before they ever reach a place where there is a microchip reader - your best chance of getting them back if they ever get lost. Using a Tandy 1/8 inch leather punch for the holes, mounting was effortless.

The name plate was exactly what I wanted. Clean, crisp lettering, and customizable. It installed easily with the provided rivets. The rivets are smooth back so it doesn't irritate my WHPG. Well done GDS.

Cheap, simple and effective. These are a great way to add an ID to a current collar. The riveted design keeps the ID up and out of the way, so it doesn't get ripped off in training. Thanks again!
