I have used this kind of tag for at least 50 years, and it is the only tag I have found that stays on and legible. You can forget tags that are not actually engraved, as the writing wears off.

What I think is the only flaw is that the rivets do not hold up to an active dog. What I end up doing is putting them on with a pop rivet (1/8 inch) and a # 6 flat washer to back them up. From my order history, you can see I've been through a few of them.

I have zero hunting dogs. I used your I.D. plates for my coon traps for ID tags. Your ID plates work very good for me wiring them to my traps, and I will tell my friends about you all.

Will last longer than the collar. Stamped engraving will always be readable.

These tags are the best I have ever purchased. The name brand store tags DO NOT COMPARE! I buy extras to attach to my Lupine collars and leather collars. I have found that these tags outlast the collars they are put on, unless they came on the Tufflex collars. Those last forever. These collars are excellent quality! Before buying these I was replacing my dogs collars every three months at on average $20.00 per collar. Gun Dog Supply collars last me two years before replacing!
