Instructions are not thorough is my only complaint.

I like all the options on them. I haven't been able to use them a lot yet. The led lights will be awesome while camping.

Has everything you could ever want. Vibrate, tone, 10 levels of stim, bark limiter, and led running lights. Uses mini usb for charging ports. If you're on the go you can charge it in the truck, if you have usb ports. It can expand up to three dogs as well. Really great collar couldn't ask for more.

This is my first training collar and I'm so glad I bought it. It works great on my Brittany, I am able to take her out off lead, she will look for birds, but come in or change directions when I ask her too. I keep it on a very low setting and many times she will respond to just the vibration setting. It's worked so well for her that I purchased another collar for my crazy Boxer. Not only is this system great for taking your dog off lead, but also works well for teaching dogs not to jump on people ect. The training video that came with my order was very helpful in learning how to use it correctly, I am very happy with my purchase.

I don't know who needs the training me or the dogs. It is working great, but sometimes I overcompensate. Best results would be having them to respond to obedience training first and foremost before moving to electronic collar.

I've been using this collar on my dogs for about a week, but so far I love it. Easy to use and very (very!) effective. My dogs respond to level 4. They are completely oblivious to levels lower than 4, and actually didn't respond at first until level 5. Once they realized what was going on, I was able to reduce the level to 4 and still get consistent responses. I've been able to walk one of them on leash (who is dog-on-dog aggressive) without fear that he will go Cujo on another animal who passes by. He gets a reminder stimulation and stops all antics. It's amazing. My other dog is getting reminders that he does not need to eat every pile of dog poop he locates (which he does indeed hunt for like a pig hunts truffles). I know these are not standard reasons to use the collars, but wow.....they work, and what a relief! My dogs are only 1 year old, but I hope to be able to run them off leash soon, and will also use these collars as a deterrent against their prey drive when off leash (deer-squirrel-furry creature chasers). Definitely recommended! Thank you!

This has been an excellent tool. Our young stray (dumped near us - thanks lazy people) Cur needed to learn to not chase the donkeys and horses in the fields. Yelling didn't work. Either this device worked or the dog had to go. After only a few corrections we still have the dog! It worked as advertised. Now I have to see if I am smart enough to continue the training!!

Have been using the collar for about a month now. It is used on the dog every day in the water, snow, woods, etc. Keeps a charge for a long time, no problems so far. I would highly recommend this collar if you want something simple to operate.

Has made communicating with a very young and active dog a joy. Hardly have to worry about distractions. It has been a great investment for us. Thanks

Good product so far. Very well designed (ergonomically) for easy use without having to take your eye off your dog. Easy to charge and use. Like the positive clicks between settings and only having 10 settings, instead of having to guess where you are on a scale of 100 or whatever. Also has separate buttons for momentary or continuous correction, and you can hit either one without moving your thumb: use the joint for one, and the end of your thumb for the other. Has tone/vibrate/bark features as well. Haven't been able to test waterproof feature yet, but there's no charging port to leak water on the collar unit. We're using to reinforce known commands on a 130 pound dog who'd decided he didn't have to listen any more, and after 5 minutes in the back yard on the lowest setting, he's once again a model dog. Highly recommend. Wish we'd purchased sooner, Gun Dog Supply is great to deal with, with Amazon equivalent pricing.

Utilizing the 'built in' bark limiter is not what I expected. It seems to be an either/or proposition...bark limiter or correction collar. I do like the controller's flotation feature.

Nice size transmitter. Love the lights on the collars. Seems to be a great starting point before stepping up to the more expensive Pro 500 model.

Lots of great options and batteries recharge very quickly. Great product.

We had been using the Tri Tronics collars for the last 9 years without issue. This new version from Garmin has a few more bells and whistles as well as being is a bit more lightweight. So far no issues. We like the separate button for toning the dogs, which we use frequently. The collar lights are a nice touch. Other than making sure we know how to use them, we have not needed them. Hoping the new collars last as long as the first set. We will see.

The Garmin Sport Pro has brought my dogs to a better level to commands and just having fun. The younger one was a bit mouthy and would try to rule. Now she has more respect. Thank you so much.

A great product which, with the accompanying DVD, dispelled my wife's and my own collective fears of something that would administer a truly shocking if not brutal punishment for not being obedient. Used gently but firmly, it gets immediate results, especially with our congenitally deaf pup. I can recommend this product 100% as well as Gun Dog Supply. Our problem with the charger was resolved with a new unit immediately shipped to us without the need to make a second credit card charge, in which credit is normally applied upon receipt of the old unit. Can you beat that? NO!!!!

Momentary stim does not work well. Charge system awkward.

Great product. All the features of the proline at a lower price point. Easy one hand operation. The only down side is only 10 levels of adjustment. Would prefer more, but it gets the job done.

This collar has been amazing. With it I was able to correct my dog's bad habits with remarkable ease. Friends that knew my dog when we first got him are shocked by how obedient he is now. I strongly encourage users to watch the Basic Obedience Ecollar Training video before using it. FYI, I rarely use the shock function. 99% of the correction has come from the tone and vibrate functions. This collar is very easy to use even for a complete novice. Very water proof. It has survived many many pond swims. It holds a charge very well, and it seems well built. I would absolutely recommend this collar to anyone looking for an ecollar.

My Brittany is still a puppy. She is 0.+-24.5 months old. I haven't had the opportunity to use the collar out in the field yet, but we are using it indoors to help with jumping, biting and when she won't leave the older dog alone. Really enjoyed the video. I didn't want to hurt the dog, and the instruction on the video has some good advice. Results are pretty good. She is responding to our verbal commands with the correction included. Should be using it in the field in the next month or so. Thanks for the quick ship and advise. The video you have posted on the website is great, as the instruction book included with the collar is limited.

Battery does not last very long on collar.

Have only used it a couple times since I just got it, but so far so good! Love the simplicity of it, and the build quality seems great.

Perfect for training. Now our puppy is taking advantage. For Christmas we recently purchased the same for our grand-dog. :)

Really nice collar. I switched over from a Dogtra that was just old. Cons: I thought the light was a great idea (our black dog becomes invisible when you let him out at night), however it isn't as effective as I was hoping. When you put on the collar, the fur under his neck blocks the light when his head is up (he has lab length fur). When he has his head to the ground sniffing you can see it. I still make him wear one of the blinking collar lights when he goes out. Garmin- move the lights to the front of the collar- not the top. Would be perfect then. Pros: Having the option for tone, vib then stim has made a great improvement in his response. The controller seems very durable (I wish it had a belt-clip). Range has been everything I'll need working around 15 acre property. Great product and looking for many years of use!

I highly recommend Garmin Sport Pro. After only a week of use my rambunctious 1 yr old male German Shepherd is responding on command or only the tone feature. We are still working on his excitement when he encounters other dogs, but with use of SportPro he's calming down quickly. This is not my first collar but it is my first Garmin Tri Tronics brand collar. After using it for a couple of months I have found that it is reliable and delivers everything as promised. The LED lights are handy and the range of stimulation is excellent. Stimulation ranges from nothing to, why did I try that on myself. The only thing that bothers me is that the green LED flashes once in awhile when the unit is on and no stimulation is applied, not an issue during training for the most part (although I have worried that it was providing unwanted stimulation which after testing on myself it does not) in an early morning hunting situation though it could potentially flare your quarry if the collar is on at that time. Overall I am very happy with my purchase.

Works really good so far. Thought it might last a little longer between charges. But other than that it's a very nice collar. Seems to have good range and really like the vibrate feature . It's great. I use the vibration as a silent come command and the tone as a silent woah command.

Perfect collar for upland or other hunting. The non-digital dial is ideal versus the read out version. If you are looking for a base model with all the features that basic hunting and training will require, this is the one to get. The tone and vibration buttons are easy to use and very handy, which means I very rarely use the stimulation as my dogs are conditioned to the tone and vibration.

It was hard to pick from so many products, but Garmin was a name that carried a reputation for quality, and they had purchased a very known and respected company in Tri Tronics, so narrowed it down for me. After reading the reviews on Gun Dog Supply I chose the Sport Pro for 3 main reasons: 1) no LED window, but a very positive and easy to use dial. Who's going to be able to look down at an LED when training the dog, and it's just some else to drain the battery and/or go wrong. 2) The light feature. At night the dog looks like he's running headlights, so he sees where he's going and I see where he is. 3) The 3/4 mile rating. My GSP runs fast and long. Glad to have the ability to make corrections when he's far away. The unit costs a tad more than I wanted to spend, but I was reminded of that old saying: Good equipment ain’t cheap, and cheap equipment ain’t good. So I made the best decision!

Great collar! Very easy to use remote. All the buttons are right where they need to be. We’ve used it in the field, the lake, and in the back yard. The smallest, yet one of the nicest features is the remote controlled light. It makes spotting our black lab in the dark a piece of cake. Just hit the button and there she is. Great product and great customer service. My order shipped right away, and they even threw in a few free extras.

Extremely happy with the Garmin electronic training collar. As with all things Garmin, it is easy to use and performs reliably!

Very easy to use, one hand operation is great. The LED lights are great for early morning decoy deployment. The idea of waterproof controls works well in Oregon. The barklimiter has stopped my dogs only bad habit. I highly recommend this collar for active dogs and hunters.

It took stimulation level 4 for my dog to respond and 5 too get the response I am looking for. But easy tool use.

Great collar. Dog responds at the lowest setting. Had sport basic before and new one is a great improvement.
