Good materials used to build the collar and should hold up very well. Only issue with the collar I have encountered is the extra material on the collar is not captured by a leather retainer, so I don't keep it on her all the time and take it off after she comes in, so she doesn't chew on the loose end of the collar. She is not full grown yet and when she is I don't think it will be a problem. Currently using a rubber band to restrain the end.

I really like this leather collar. I bought it a little large, as our Anatolian shepherd was only 7 months old and she will be fairly large when fully grown. She was close to 70 lbs when I bought the extra large. I put it on the last hole to fit her now. She is outside a lot and I should have put some mink oil on the collar sooner as the end of the collar, past the last hole broke off. Still looks good and functions well.

Gun Dog’s leather collars are the best I’ve seen. This the second dog I’ve ordered one for. They are attractive, durable, and a good value. Plus they identify your best friend and provide contact info should your best friend wander. Scout loves it when I put her “bling” back on after a bath.

I have been buying these leahter collars from Gun Dog Supply for 25 years, they are made from prime cowhides. I have never had the nameplate come off.

Ring lays nicely on the nape. I paid attention to the measurement instructions and it payed off. One dog between sizes but instructions helped with that. Good value. Good look. Still early so don’t know how it will wear but 5 for now!

I purchased two of these for my Brittany Spaniels to keep permanent identification on their collars but give them a natural material against their necks. (Tags tend to wear off in the heavy brush while hunting). They have proven to be durable in all environments (even in saltwater!) and still look great today. Definitely happy with the purchase.

This is a sharp well made collar. I made the mistake of measuring my Brittany’s old collar and not following direction. The first collar was too large. Gun dog supply honored there guarantee and promptly replaced it with a better fit for the little guy.

My 12-year-old dog has been wearing this collar for 11 years, and it's still in good shape! The collar has often been wet because she likes to swim and be out in the rain. Sometimes I scrub it with soap and a brush because it can carry a bit of active-dog smell. Sure, it's a bit worn, but has stood the test of time and it still looks great. I am convinced I could never find a better quality collar.

I have had GSP's and Deutsch Drahthaar hunting dogs for 40 years. Once finding the durability of this collar to its price point, I'll only buy here.

Everything from placing the order to receiving the order was super quick and easy. Received the product and it was packaged well. The leash is really nice quality, collar is as well. Name plate on the collar was printed just how I wanted it and was also nice quality material. Over all super pleased with this product especially for the price which is what it all boils down to! Only complaint is the collar wasn’t quite as big as I had hoped it would be as I have a 180lb mastiff and needed a really big collar. However it ended up being an almost perfect fit for him with a couple more holes to spare. The leash also wasnt quite as thick as I had hoped it would be. All in all however I am totally happy with my purchase and highly recommend.
