A complete, high quality starter kit for our 4.5 month old lab. He loves it and bring relatively new to training a retriever, we are finding the training book and DVD very helpful.

Excellent training book and supplies. Techniques have been very effective, and my puppy is advancing nicely. I do wish it was available with a smaller choke chain and dead fowl trainer more suited to my spaniel. Probably sized perfect for a larger lab.

Lil Miss Abbie is 11 weeks old today. The supplies in the kit were a little big at first for her, but she seems to be acclimating just fine... Threw one of the bumper dummies in my lake, and she went right after it. Can't wait for bird season here in Florida! I am sure we will be frequenting the site, as we need more training goodies and supplies. Thanks Steve!

The only problem I have with it is it didn't come with a normal collar, and that's about it. Other than that, it's great.

Wow! I have had a labrador before, but wasn't successful with training. I am fully confident with this guide, plus lots and lots of training of my beloved puppy, and effort on my families part, that this little guy will be a great gun dog!

I think it is an all around good purchase if you're new into training your dog from the start (like me). The check cord I realized I could've made my self, but the fact that it came with the bumpers, dummy, and wings was great. I wish I had bought the kit before we got our pup! Tom Dokken's book is real easy to read and has a lot of good sense info which I wish I had had before we got her home. She's coming along fine for a 3.5 month old though! I would recommend this to any who needs a place to start.

This kit was a great investment into my dogs future for hunting. He loves the throw toys and the bird wings. I would definitely recommend this to anyone that is relatively new at training a hunting dog.

The puppy training kit has paid for itself thus far! My lab is 8 weeks old and with the help of my puppy training kit she is already coming, sitting, and kenneling on command!
